AUSTRALIA v WALES 1978 SIGNED BALL A Ballymore International ball by Nutting & Young of Australia with multiple signatures relating to the Australia v Wales 2nd Test in Sydney June 17th 1978. This outstanding ball has both teams signatures neatly signed next to their numbers, several other members of the Welsh squad have also signed the ball along with 18 former Australian internationals. These signatures include nice examples of the 3 Ella brothers, Sir Nicholas Shehadie, Brendan Moon, Michael O'Connor & Brendan Moon, there is a small amount of smudging to some of the signatures on this panel.

BARBARIANS v NEW ZEALAND 1978 SIGNED BALL A fully signed ball from the final match of the 1978 All Blacks Grand Slam tour. The ball is signed by 53 players and management in total including the complete All Black squad and full Barbarians team. Neatly written along one panel is the match date and score - 16th Dec 1978 Barbarians 16 New Zealand 18. The All Blacks managed to sneak the win with an Eddie Dunn drop goal late in the game, please see the team list below for the teams on the day. The ball is accompanied by a match programme containing profiles of all the players who have signed. Signatures are clearly legible apart from Andy Dalton which has faded somewhat. This an excellent opportunity to purchase much sought after memorabilia from the All Blacks first Grand Slam tour.

The ball was oriiginally sold as at a sporting auction held in aid of the Hanmer Springs netball club in New Zealand, Richie and Jo McCaw were special guests on the evening of 1st march 2006.
